Greddy Turbo Kit Questions......

Hey guys, I'm starting my new project in a month and I had a couple of questions for people with experience with the greddy turbo kit.

I like the greddy turbo kit because it comes with a CARB sticker... In San Diego you are screwed if your car is not SMOG legal...

What would I need to get some good numbers out of the kit? I know I would need a bigger turbo, do they have larger bolt on turbos? How big is the stock DP? Is the manifold and DP good enough for higher numbers? How about the intercooler? Is it good for higher numbers also? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

the intercooler should be pretty good. however the the elboy and downpipe have a little to be desired. because of the bolt that goes through the center of it. youll see when you install it. as a starter kit it is a good kit.

Okay, I can get a new manifold and DP for it later, I will probably end up running a 3" setup anyway. hah...

Will the Emanage ultimate work well for me?

Also, I should add that this is going to be an 84MM Sleeved GSR..

i wouldnt put a greddy kit on a sleeved gsr... seems like a waste to me

The greddy kit is fun for the street or like a daily driven car. As for hp i have seen people make over 300hp on the 18G, but it won't be retaining much of the kit anymore. I myself am looking for over 300whp on the 18G, 3inch v-band from atp turbo, 550cc injectors and probibly 16-19psi. The 18G will actually put out some good tq numbers also.

I say go for it. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

if you have a built and sleeved GSR, i think a Greddy kit is a huge waste...get something like the Full Race kit and make some big power....500whp!
