Greddy turbo kit question
I have a question. Has anyone used a JG/Edelbrock I/M with the 18g?
I heard the 18g does not push enough air to see any gains from it and that you might lose some power with it. Is this true? Kinda going for 350whp and already own the manifold

Re: Greddy turbo kit question (APEX i GSR)
I would say that anyone who thinks just because a turbo is small you are going to lose hp by adding something that causes less restriction is a dumbass.
Might as well not upgrade the downpipe or not switch to an external gate.
In all seriousness, i think that you will have nothing but a gain when adding a intake manifold with larger pleniums no matter what your turbo size is, and yeah you might lose a little power down low, but its worth the top end IMO.
And if all motor applications gain power off of it, why wouldnt a boosted car gain even more.

Re: Greddy turbo kit question (APEX i GSR)
I have an 18G as well and I decided against the Victor X. My car is daily driven and seldom raced, so throttle response is more important to me than more power in the upper powerband with a soggy low end.
I actually made a thread about it: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1679142
The choice is yours, that is just my $.02.
