Default Greddy times street setup @ 7psi

Best time was 14.1, 2.2 60ft. @99.6111 mph. This was with full interior with baby seat and some liteweight 17's with Yokohama A520. A friend of mine brought his slicks BUT he forgot to put air in it. I was hoping a 13 second timeslip.

4 Consistent runs doing 14.2, 2.2 60ft, about 98-99mph.

The best part was taking home a trophy. My first ever trophy being a runner up due to the fact that I red lighted. It feels good when you eliminate a 12 second full race prepped crx. I'm very happy how everything turned out so well especially how my car is setup just for the street.

BTW, this was at Sace Raceway wednesday night drags.

I have never been to a drag strip where they didnt have compressed air to use free of charge Should have thought about that, then you would have had your 13's!

I dont think you will need slicks to run 13's... 2.2 60 ft is not bad so u r driving your car good.. If you could free up maybe 10hp somehow you would pull over a 100mph traps and if u kept up the good drving hopefully break 13's..

I don't think Sac raceway have one. You'll have to go outside to a gas station and sometimes they don't let you back in. I would have been hapier hitting 13's on full street trim. Anyways, is all good, no regrets here.

Immortal: Thanks dood. I use to go to alot of illegals last year before i settled down. Oakland and Concord were the main ones.

Freeing up 10 hp? Any alternatives without raising the boost to 8psi?

Hey D. How you been man! Yah, I already took most of the restrictors out like the plate you mentioned and the cat. I have a test pipe bolted on with the dinky greddy downpipe. I'm trying to squeeze every possible hp i can get @ 7psi, full street trim (the way i run on the street) hitting consistent 13's.

easiest ways to do that are 1) larger dp or up to 3" down pipe 2) 3 inch exhaust 3) skunk2 intake manifold

It was a fun night alright. Saw a busa turbocharged running low 9's. Talking bout death wish. I won't be back there till the next season starts and prolly going to a much closer track like Sears Point (once they finish renovateing).

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions guys. I'll try different shifting points. This were all redline shifts. The 14.1 I busted was a 7600 shift at first, 7500 at 2nd then redline the rest of the gears. I can feel full power just above 5500.

Good job...Congrats bro!!!...im pretty sure you will break 13's in a matter of practice because tthe 14.1 was with 17's and prolly hit 13's with 15's drag radials...i envy you so much man...ehehhe

Joel! Mah man... You're next. I know we have a kit that is capable of hitting 13's at an average street boost.

i got some times in the 1/8th mile last night. i don't know if they are good or not...i was pulling faster times than the tt rx7, vr4, and 300z. i was averaging with a fully built awd talon boosting 25 psi! ok, my car is automatic (drama). 93 hatch with stock 95 ls auto drivetrain and a stock intercooled gsr greddy kit at 7 psi. i had 13" steelies with 175-70-r13's going pretty bald at 20 psi. here is my best slip though it is going to get better with traction and a little more boost and lighter chasis...

Just by looking at your 1/8 timeslip, it looks like you'll be in low 13's, possibly high 12's.

Your car looks nice. I like when i see a GSR done properly

What is the boost limit on the 18g that comes with the Greddy kit?

Thanks dood. The safest boost you can possibly have on the 18g is 15psi because of the internal wastegate and that's well over 300whp. To me, 12psi is enough for the streets.

DSM peeps boost up to 18 psi with a 16g. That's just pushing it.
