Default Greddy TD04H-15G rebuild to an 18G?

Well, my GReddy Mitsubishi TD04H-15G turbo finally bit the dust. Damn compressor blades are essentially jammed against the housing (bent shaft). My bad for getting a used turbo to begin with!

Anyhow, I was interested in keeping the housing, but getting a different cartridge. I was thinking of getting a 18G wheel, as rumor has it that it would fit in there. Any other suggestions of what I can do to repair/upgrade the turbo simultaneously?

Check your cat, I heard that sometimes under the pressure they collapse on themselves and make it seem as if your turbo bit the big one. just my .02

U can get ur turbo rebuilt with a bigger compressor... but from what I've heard it's better to just get a better turbo instead of upgrading.
