Greddy TD04 turbo...too small?
#4
t04 small>?....I dont think so...that is exactly good turbo side for an acura...
It a small car though, so that turbo size may have little lag on it cause it big ...
I say If you have an integra, I wound go t3/t4..good sizing, fast spool up, pick up boost fast ...Well that what I think...

Re: (Fired Honda)
you should post more information on your car's intended purpose, details about your engine, and more details on the turbo for somebody to help

Re: Greddy TD04 turbo...too small? (93hb)
not TO4...TD004...the turbo that comes with the greddy kit.
intensions....i'm running 15.3 on a stock ls motor in my hatch with shitty 60 foot times. i just want to run low 14's...like a 14.0-14.1 or possibly high 13's in my hatch. i will run about 8lbs of boost also and will have 2.5" exhuast piping.
i will probably get some other stuff too...just later on down the line.

It's a good turbo. I don't know if it will carry boost all the way to the LS redline. It'll spool nice and quick though.

You just shooting for 14s with a turbo?..hmm let see
greddy kit is 3k
install 500-1000
dyno tuning 300
need better fuel management for reliability 400+.....
- wow all of that for just 1 sec ahead, you think it worth it?...I would go a swap.. cheap supercharge can get you that second ahead too...

hmmm he could install it himself...and get the Greddy Turbo Kit for D-series...and have Tinker219 make him a custom manifold so it can fit the B-series motor..and run AFC-hack..those prices that you posted are way too high dude

Re: (Powered By D15)
This should be more realistic:
Greddy D series kit - 1500
intercooler - 100-500(depending on condition, fmic etc etc)
Injectors/resistor box/fuel pump - 300
vafc - 250
bov - 50-200
thats pretty much it

Re: Greddy TD04 turbo...too small? (93hb)
i'm getting the kit from a friend of mine. it comes with an intercooler and some other things. i'm not even paying 1500 for it...i'm paying less than that.
why would i get another swap? i just swapped an ls motor in my hatch!
i already tried the jrsc on my ls motor...didn't do as much as i thought it would. so i sold it and now i'm getting a turbo kit.

Re: Greddy TD04 turbo...too small? (93hb)
here you go:HKS B-series turbo manifold(cast-iron)
Greddy/Mitsu Tdo4(no shaft play)
Downpipe
Spearco FMIC 26x8x3(polish)
Charge pipe/intercooler pipping
Blitz's Blow-off valve
Walbro 255lph intank fuel pump
FMU
Missing Link
VDO boost gauge
sArd's(jdm) turbo timer
Brass fittings/SS feedline/return line
buying this will be a lot cheaper than getting another motor. i have a 98 ls motor in my hatch with only 36k miles on it. so i have no intentions on getting another swap.
yeah...i could just get a 65 shot of gas and be a high 13 with some bolt-ons,but i want to hear the sound of the bov.

i dynoed 200 whp in my single cam with the single cam greddy kit at 10psi, i dynoed 242 with my b16 with the single cam greddy kit, i ran 8.60 in the 8th. this turbo is by no means too small for the motor, but i am upgrading to a t3/t04e.
