Default greddy oil filter adapter

i have a c1 motor in a 95 dx
i picked up the greddy filter adapter to give blood to my snail
the damn thing its tight, yes i know how to install it, used both gaskets, just to make sure, and the thing leaks
not pissing out... just a moderate drop... not from the line or the filter its coming from behind the adapter... im getting so fed up
i may get a adapter to the oil pressure and secure it somewhere on the firewall and re-route it there....
help.... b4 i take c4

did you run a ring of oil around the rubber seals b4 you tightened it like you do with an oil filter?

I've also had mine for a while with no problems. Check your surfaces are clear of debree. Also be sure to tighten the thread extender.

Ive installed 4 or 5 of them. Mine was the only one that leaked so I pulled it off, cleaned it well and reinstalled with a thin coat of RTV. let it set for a 1/2 hour (warm motor to help cure fast) and it has lasted for 30k miles now. I wonder why they leak, the design is so simple, just a groove and an O ring...
