Default Greddy MX Exhaust... Good for a turbo?

so I have my crx, it's a 91 si with a 92-95 hatch civic si (d16z6) motor...plans of rebuilding and boosting is in the near future. I'm getting my friends t3/t4 and his intercooler for pretty cheap. but that's not what i have quesitons about... I need to find a new exhaust or I need to know if my exhaust is worthy of a turbo or not...I know my exhaust is 60mm in diameter and it's around 2.36 but would i really be losing that much power or is there more to it? anyone with knowledge give me some imput, i need all the help i can get...

3" pipe diameter is pretty standard for turbo cars!

I know that but would I be risking anything if I stayed with the 60mm? I know I'd lose some power but would that me the only thing?

you would lose spool time and high rpm power

i have a 2.25 in exhaust with stock cat (check sig) and my 170wtq is at 3900 rpms and my 200whp is only just past 6k - the numbers should still be climbing way past 6k, esp. when redline is 8200rpm

2.36 is choking the motor way too much, at least get a 3" they can be had cheaply now-a-days

I would say if you are only going to boost 5-7 psi thats fine even though the bigger the better but you wont hurt anything. But for 8psi and up 3" would help more
