Default Greddy Kit install on a 90 CRX Si, DIY or a shop?

After selling my B16a, I am looking to get a stock 88-91 CRX Si (d16a6). How hard are the Greddy turbo kits to install on them, and can they be done in a weekends time? I didn't do the swap in my current CRX, but have done all bolt-ons, etc on it. Is the kit something that isn't going to be too much trouble for a mechanically inclined person, or should I get a shop to do it (REALLY don't want to do this, $$$). Also with the Greddy's, will I be able to keep A/C?

jB

Reason for Greddy: $$$, and not looking for insane amounts of psi. I'm looking to hit 14's w/ the d16, and 13's when I go mini-me...and the Greddy seems like the best turbo for the value/price...

as long as you have basic knowledge of whats going on, you can do it yourself, it might take a while , but thats the best way, just takae youre time, as you should with any mod on your car.

bro you can do it yourself.if you can do simple mechanical things, this will be no challenge.the challenge will be if you add an intercooler.but if you don;t get an intercooler i think the kit is weak by itself.

its mad easy and straight forward to do it. i just put in the greddy kit on my civic hx took me 5 days in the freakin heat but i did it. get some buddies to help out and it'll go by faster. and plus u'll get the satisfaction of finishing it yourself.

How do you like the Greddy kit? I have heard good and bad things from it... I want it for the $$$ and ease. What kind of psi are you running w/ it, and where did you get it?

do it yourself, turbos are a lot of maitenence so you need to know it inside and out

it took me and my friends 9 hours to install the turbo, and thats including doing the welding and rigging **** up like the oil pan, JB weld remarkably does wonders i havent seen 1 drop of oil *knock on wood*

sup man, well i just actually got it all finished yesterday... right now i don't know the full potential of it yet since im running really rich and i can't rev past 4 grand. so once i get my fuel tuned right i should see the benefits. im gonna be boosting 6 lbs on low boost and 8 on high. i got mine used from one of my buddies for 800.
if you get a new kit, everything is pretty straight forward and easy...
