Default greddy d series turbo kit

i just installed today a greddy turbo kit on my 97 civic hx. the kit was for a 92-95 civic which only has 1 o2 sensor. the kit also eliminates the cat on the car. i was wondering if you guys know what size resistor i could use in the secondary o2 signal circuit to fool the ecm into thinking the cat was still there and working properly. ill weld another bung in the dp thats no problem but i dont want to have me cel on. ive heard of o2 simulators but wasnt sure where theres one available for my car. thanks guys

well if i can get an 02 simulator for say 40 or 50 bucks thats a lot cheaper than getting a conversion harness, obd1 ecu, and some sort of tuning software. the cars only going to be running 6 lbs or so im not concerned with making lots of power. i just dont want a cel.

doesn't the HX run a cat on the manifold? and the whole turbo setup just replaces everything? Just reweld another bung into your exhaust for a second O2 sensor

you were just told to run a O2 simulator, what else to you expect? you were told out the O2 in and you shot that down, and they said run a simulator.
THAT's all there is unl;es you want ot spend a lot of $ and time with a standalone ecu system and obd-1 conversion.

thanks for the helpful feedback oscar i never got a definitve answer that there was a company that sold o2 sim's. i pmed platinum and im waiting to hear back from him regarding the one he was for sale. i didnt shoot down anyones comments. i already planned on installing another bung in my dp, but the purpose of the 2nd 02 is to monitor cat efficiency, which obviously there wouldnt be any, so that alone wouldnt eliminate the code.

You could also just run a cat and exhaust from an ex. Otherwise, you'll have to run an O2 simulator because without the cat you'll throw the check engine light.
