greddy (95 gsr) blue box and injectors w/ 95 ls computer?
i was wondering if anyone has tried to do this. i called greddy and they were a--munches. they said they don't give any tech for secondhand products of theirs...so i couldn't get the pin out taps, but i have all of them but one wire. i checked and they don't seem to go to anything like the v-tec, or knock sensor, or secondary intake. i know though that the fuel and timing maps are different, but greddy said it wouldn't work but again they weren't nice to me...it's ok i have it running anyway. and, i know there are better kits but i got mine barely used(off a just installed and wrecked 95 gsr) for $1200. i am wondering if i should try and use it...will it just not run at all or it seems like it would run richer (if it did) than the gsr because there's a lot more air going in and out of the gsr motor. don't ask what my current fueling setup is, let's just say that it leans out at high rpms and i am trying to find a cheap solution because i have the blue box and injectors and want to possibly put the things to use if it won't endanger my motor.

oh, it is a 95 ls motor. ok, stock injectors, fpr set at about 50 psi, holley 255, and boost peaks at 5-6, timing is 14 degrees, and have intercooler.

I wasnt aware that greddy made a blue box for OBD1 cars? I wouldnt mess with it. use the 310's and slap an FMU with 8:1 disk on there.

Re: greddy (TurboInteg95)
You need to be careful using FMUs, because at higher fuel pressures the fuel pumps flow less fuel. Check out the tech report at http://Hondata.com/techfuelpump.html

Re: greddy (Hondata)
thanks...what fmu are you talking about exactly, just a boost dependant regulator? if so, i will only ever boost no more than 8 lbs. are they that dangerous? i thought lots of people use them and/or they wouldn't be thrown into kits. i would like to use an expensive computer fuel management, but have a financial shortage right now for that. and what would be a solution to your proposition without spending at least 1G?
