The 92-95 greddy kit uses a blue box that is pre tuned for the d16z6 head the 96-00 greddy kit uses the newer e-manage that is suposed to be pre tuned to the car specified. Just through personal experiance, my advice to you is to get rid of whichever one you have, pick up some larger injectors(dsm 440), FPR, a manual boost controller, and a V-AFC. Greddy runs their **** WAY too rich. An hour on the dyno with the setup I just gave you will give suprising results.

If the newer kits come with GReddy e-Manage then use the e-Manage. It's basically a fancier version of the AFC hack. Why sell it for something else when what you already have works fine? Besides, you can buy a GReddy ignition harness that will allow you to adjust ignition settings via the e-Manage. Their website says it's only $41.80.

can anyone verify?

pros and cons on this greddy sohc 92-95 d16z6 kit?

A friend of mine runs the exact setup that I described on his d15 and runs it at 10 psi. His car runs a little richer at higher rpms. With the super AFC there is basically no danger of running too lean unless you step up to past the limit of the stock map sensor(11.3psi)

the only gripe i have about the greddy kit is that the blue box gives crappy gas mileage. i'm saving for hondata as soon as i swap in a five speed.

Hi
I just finish my car about 2 months ago, and I am runnning the blue box, my car is running really good and the only thing I had to do was weld another bung for the secondary o2 sensor ( you could use a simulator ) and make sure if you run the blue box that you wire it for your car which is different than the 92-95.
BTW I get better gas mileage now than before, last gas tank I got 28.4 mpg and than was using a/c and hitting 115mph once

96 DX hatch, Greddy turbo kit, EX intake mani, dsm BOV and SMIC, 2.5'' exaust
