Default greddy 18g,310cc injector,255 walbro on b16

thats about it on my car it has a internal wastegate set at like 6-7 psi,is it okay(safe) to boost it to like 9 psi,or do i need more on the set-up.thanks

Im not sure what whp your going to be around but you need bigger injectors and you Definately need a good tune. Without a good tune on something like hondata or crome, its not going to be a reliable set up.

yeah upgrade injectors and get a tune and it will be safe on 9 psi, are you using the greddy blue box, if you are GET RID OF IT

I have been running over 9psi on my 18G with the 310's with no problems. Not to say its smart but i also am tuned on Uberdata.

Like everyone says, just change to some 450's or buy something that will snap right into you RC clips...

Oh and the real problem with the blue box isnt that it isnt rich enough to handle some extra psi, but there is no timing retard, so when you start adding boost with no timing, thats when the blue box starts to show its weekness.

Before being tuned on uberdata my tuner and i widebanded the blue box just to see what it was doing afr wise with 2 extra psi added and it was solid as a rock 11.8-12.0 through the whole RPM band.

The map I have from a previous SiR b16 w/super60 t3 scaled to 310cc injectors gives me 102% duty cycle at 8000rpm/6.3psi. I would guess the 18g is a bit bigger, and that your car's b16 would make a bit more power w/the bigger lobes.

That same map did roughly 270whp at 9psi, and the theoretical max of four 310cc injectors is around 232whp. Take this for what its worth, just don't let wishful thinking blow your **** up.
