Got turbo but no boost???
I just set up my 96 integra with a homemade turbo kit. The kit consists of a T3 turbo with a Hondata s100 450cc inj. ect.
The car runs great. The only problem is it isnt going into boost. At around 4000 RPM I can hear the turbo spool and it sounds as though it is ready to hit boost. Although. the problem is the boost guage does not leave 0 Vacum and I can tell the car isn't going into boost.
So I imagine I have a leak in the system somewhere, but it would have to be a pretty big leak for the car not see any boost. Anyways, I will try to test the charge pipes and the intercooler tonight. But everything seems to be connected. I just find it hard to believe that I am not seeing any boost at all.
Any ideas?? pass them along
Thanks,
Ian

Re: Got turbo but no boost??? (turboteg96)
everything else being hooked up correctly, it's most likely charge piping. sometimes you can get leaks between pipes and i've had one or two pop off before. take off all the clamps and put them all back on tightly just to be sure. also, make sure the boost gauge is hooked up correctly and that there are no kinks in the vacuum tube

yea, i would suggest checking all your piping. The same thing happend to me awhile ago. While i was looking for all the hard things, it was just my piping came undone.
