got tuned last night...boost would stay steedy need help...
i have a completly stock b20..coimpression 180 to 175 all the way across..i have a sc34 tial waste gate (changed that last night bc my wastegate was bad and just kept building boost)...580 injectors tuned on chrome...my bov doesnt leak any boost we checked...and i have T bolts in MOST places..on my hot side i have like 1 3/4 in piping then it goes to 2 1/4..i also have a boostworks boost controller...now my question is that my car would hit full boost bout 11ish lbs and fluctuate up and down from 10 to 11 all the was across...now my tuner say to get a better boost controller, change out my piping and put T bolts everywhere and also get a vaccuum box...just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem and could give me some more ideas before i go back...on 11lbs my car made 245 at 5300 rpms bc the boost kept going crazy...any help is appriciated....

Cant really tell without a picture but a better boost controller and better boost source (if not already there) will definitely help achieving steadier boost.

Pics of piping?...Try not to t in multiple items to one vacuum source. The vacuum box should help. T-bolt clamps are not really needed; I use regular clamps with my aluminum piping

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM THE BOOST GAUGE IS TAKING UP ALL THE VIBRATIONS FROM THE ENGINE CAUSING THE NEEDLE TO BE UNSTABLE. ALSO A BAD BOOST CONTROLLER WOULD CAUSE THE SAME PROBLEM. WITH A BAD BOOST CONTROLLER YOUR BOOST WOULD GO UP AND THEN DROP A FEW LBS.
A QUICK FIX MIGHT BE GET A LIQUID FILLED BOOST GAUGE AND THE NEEDLE WOULD NOT READ SO UNSTABLE.

But what did your datalogging tell you? I never trust gauges to tell me the hole story when datalogging can take well over 20 samples per second. The other problem is that very few non-OEM setups (if any) will hit the target psi and maintain it +/- 0.1 psi. If you were on the limit with your gas & turbo, your tuner was going for as much power/timing as possible, and you were fluctuating +/- >3 psi, I might be worried.
