Default Got some first time shakedown passes 1/8mile with our new project

Just thought to post this up, it’s a first time project we have been working at the shop I work at. We are actually just a general maintenance Honda/Acura shop that does some performance stuff on the side when we got the time, but I got my boss hooked on drag racing and got him to build a car for SFWD. It took a long time and a lot of effort, especially since we only worked on it when we had extra time or when we stayed late at the shop, but its finally on the track!

This is the first time we got some shakedown passes with it at Irwindale Speedway 1/8 mile.

Got to say it was a hell of a ride, since I've never driving anything with this kind of power lol

We are only running part power right now since we haven’t gotten boost by gear working out yet, so I’m of just the wastegate spring 18psi around 480whp and running a long gear LS tranny; were assembling a gsr trans right now for it.

Here is a video one of my friends edited of all three runs

Specs
1996 Integra building for SFWD
607WHP 27psi
480WHP 18psi
tuned by Shawn Church
Hondata s300
Full Race Pro-Am kit with t67 turbo
AFI 4" aluminum exhaust
Everything built and assembled at our shop
b16 with golden eagle stroker and sleeves 1.9L
b16 stock head with skunk2 valve train and CTR cams
JG intake manifold and skunk2 tb
LS tranny obx lsd going back to GSR after we put a new final into it
Clutch Masters twin disk
DSS 5.9 axles
Omni drag full coil overs, control arms and camber kits

Nothing has been lightend and we still have even have the sound deadener, lol, were workin on cleaning it up and making it look nicer and we are already thinkin up of an all new set for it, so we can be competitive with the big boys, but all in time

7.1's are good at that power level in such a heavy chassis. Looks like the car has more left in it at that power level, too.

yea 60' seems decent. Mine's about a second more than that on my shitty dunlops ;D

that 1/8th mile doesn't do it justice ;[ were u launching off an antilag? hard to tell but it sounded like just a 2step.
