got some 81mm je pistons for my b16, fitment questions??
well i blew up my old b16 cuz it droped a valve, so i got a new head for cheap and a new block for free from my friend. picked up a set of mint eagle h beams for 150, and i got some new je forged 81mm 8-1-1 comp pistons for my b16. just wondering if the block needs to be bored out at all for clearences when it expands? just wondering i dont want to just put them in not knowing, and if so how much does the block need to be bored out. just want to be safe. and how should i brake it in? it will be na for a couple months, for break in, and cuz i dont have all my turbo stuff.. thanks for any help. -blake
