Got a question reguarding what turbo for my application...
Alright, ive got a b16
84mm darton sleeves,
9:1 cp pistons,
eagle rods,
pnp head,
portflow valvetrain,
ctr cams,
VictorX i/m,
3 inch DP + Exhaust.
im going with either Full-race top mount or Neukin Equil length RamHorn Mani, i was looking at the gt35r, but im open to suggestions to a different turbo that will spool faster and still make the high hp as the gt35R, is the GT35R as good as it gets as in spool/power or is there something else?

hoping for 380+whp on low boost (14ish psi) and 500ish on race boost(20+ish psi), car will only see race boost at the track and the weekends, its a street/strip car...

What's with all this talk about compression lately? You lose about 4% power per full point in compression. So if car X makes 500 WHP at 25 psi and 10:1 CR, then drops down to 9:1 CR you're realisticly looking at around 480-485 WHP. That wouldn't be made up by 1 pound of boost at all.
Go 9:1 for a street setup, especially in a B16. 10:1 in a B16 starts to get into the area of a domed piston, which isn't the best choice for an efficient burn. That plus an SC61 or a 35R if you want ball bearings and you're good to go.
