Got my SFP manifold, downpipe and my oil pan tapped and welded with a -10AN fitting today.

ok... now comments. The manifold is decent although it seems like fitting bolts in the turbine flange will be a task because of the angle it's at and because of how thick the welds are. everything else seems decent. any comments?

sorry forgot to mention it's a d16 manifold (d16's don't get tubular )

it's a 2.5" and it's an aluminum pan. It's from a 00 d16y8. i think for the 99-00's it looks like that insteadof a black pan.

the manifold was $400+tax = $426, downpipe $150+tax=$160, and the welding and fitting on the oil pan was $30

Very nice! Now how about getting the bastard on already! Why didn't you have Miami Muffler make your DP? They did a great job on mine and it was like $150 w/ flex.

yah... i just thought of it when I went there to ask about the intercooler this was $150 w/o flex
oh well. hopefully, the last few things i ordered will come next week, so that by next weekend or the following weekend everything goes in . I'm also thinking of joining Slow_Ass_4dr's groupbuy on the 3" ss catback piping for $160, it local here in miami (VSR exhaust... isn't it affiliated with miami muffler somehow? i saw a flyer for VSR when i went there?). Open downpipe won't be fun for too long

yah i know... it's $450 for the max rev... and the only reason i did't get it was because i needed the manifold, quick, and the time that the maxrev's were gonna be available (they said they were gonna do a few runs of d16 ones) was too late. although i regret it now because i ended up having to wait 3 weeks for the sfp manifold, and I'm still not done w/ everything else... oh ****** well...

Good for you Too bad Maxrev hasn't started yet. You woulda been pissed if you had waited on them. I still am, but at least I already have the turbo on the car so the delay is no big deal.

yah that sux. I'm pretty much waiting on the oil return stuff and the z10 fitting, a bov flange, and my EGT. it shipped today so I should get it with a week or so. I still haven't decided on how I'm gonna do the oil feed stuff. I don't really wanna buy the "raw" lines and put them together myself... i heard that's just a big pain in da ****. I might see if viren can rush mail me the lines and fittings i need and already put together
