got my joe p mbc in the mail today!
ok... so it says to turn the screw clockwise to adjust boost. the screw is long and i can pretty much turn it counter-clockwise til it comes off. daym i dont know where to start. any suggestions from those who have a joe p mbc in their boosted rides?!
ALSO... when i install the mbc... do i need to adjust my wastegate spring all the way up? all the way down? or just leave it where it is?

Just leave the wastegate, dont need to do anything to it. The MBC modifies the air flow. Bottom port goes to the wastegate side/vac port. the side of the MBC goes to the vacuum/boost source.
Turn right to tighten it/ more boost.
The more you tighten, the harder it should be to blow through the side barbed fitting on the MBC.

well the hallman seems to be a newer mbc. not many people have em.. thats why. joe p mbc is pretty popular and its been out there for along time. the hallman is a little bigger than the joe p. i was told that the spring is not as stiff as the joe p spring but both worked great. i didnt wanna take the chance of gettin the hallman... so i got what is already proven to be one of the best mbcs out there.

How does the Joe P or Hallman compare to the Turbo XS MBC's? I need one for my Teg now too.

The only difference i see between the Joe P and the Hallman is that one comes with an adjustment tool and the other has a ****.....other than that they look the same.

i'm pretty sure that the turbo xs mbc is a bleed type boost controller rather than a ball and spring type, like the joe p or hallman
