Default good place for oil pan tap?

Just wondering if there is a CERTAIN place where the oil pan tap should be. I am taking my oil pan off to take it and have the screw fitting welded on it and I wanted to know if there is a certain place where it should be. Upgrated turbos and the hole on the oil pan was too small and is spitting out oil under pressure. THANX!!!!!!!!!

Directly underneath the turbo is the ideal place for it. If you have the turbo on as well as the oil pan, eyeball it and make a mark for the new hole. Also try the search, there are a ton of threads relating to this and some people have even posted pics which should help you out.

thanx! I couldnt get any of theose pics to come up though. I get the idea that as long as the tap is high up on the oilk pan it should be ok. Im just worried about it clearing my downpipe. thanx fellas!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ill be back later to post the results.
