In my crx, I mounted it to the bar under the climate controls where the radio used to be.. Now I have to find a new place since I dont have a dash anymore..

I was thinking right behind the wheel too , but i would need to move stuff around then . i have my timer there. if i sit the timer on top of the display it might block some of my cluster.
i was thinking under the radio too , but i dunno how good i will be able to see it since it is soo low. i was thinking taking out my center vents too , but its a toss up with that

Mine wasnt under the radio.. It was under the climate controls where the radio used to be.. I dont know what car your doing this in but in a crx, the old radio spot was perfect.. A little low maybe but still acceptable..

I mounted my techedge on my last car right in the middle behind my steering wheel. It was right in my face so I could always see what was going on.

My fjo is to big to mount there. So i mounted it on the top of my dash above the cluster but when it is sunny out I can not see the numbers. I am going to move it someplace else soon. I want to keep it in front of me so I am not looking down at it all the time.

me too i want it in my face. its not only great for street use to know whats going on when things change , but when im racing if i see something fucked up i can get off it , then check the logs in the pits.

i will eventually get the thing for the Autometer to read correctly too. i can always see the color out the corner of my eye at night. but in the day i dont notice it as much .

I got the PLX m300 kit.
Streetrays.com has them right now for $320 shipped. If you inquire tell them i let you know about the sale. He just got the shipment yesterday and they are ready to ship right now . Mine went out today .

Why not mount it where the clock is so you just see the display behind the dash. ITRsport did a writeup on how he hid his radar detector display there. Looks dope and you can always see it.

thats actually a really good idea. i liked it when i had my vafc mounted there. it will prob be too wide though to mount in there. i will prob need to either cut **** . or mount it on thew dash there and run the wires the ru hole and make like a blockoff plate or something.
you have a link to that site or article.

Look at the size of the V1. The M300 display isnt much bigger if at all.

you definately want it very easy to see, in the general vicinity of the gauge cluster. I have had mine mounted in different places and nowhere is as visible when you are putting your foot down as right in front of you. In other words you don't want to have to turn your head.

thats true. i want easy to see. i dont wanna move my time though cuz i dont wanna **** with the wiring again . Hopefully it will fit right next to it without blocking too much more of my cluster.

i cant find measurements of the box, but heres a pic of comparison

i see two. dont see a need for 2 either, and dont pull the shift light routine, you can get just the light.

1st off the reg shift lights suck becuase they need pills. this one dont i can adjust as i need to . i had a reg shift light before and it gave me probs all the time
2nd i wanted a bigger tach for easier view and its more accurate than the stock one
3rd. its call free product. Contingency money rules doesnt it.

and yes thats a reflection. My car is purpose built. i like to have everything in clear view for easy monitoring under load. The more i know about whats going on with my car the less probs i will have.

shut up AHOLE> there was a reason behind that damnit. i was custom making an Air induction for my turbo and didnt want to chop up a nice intake to do it. I ended up not using it anyway and took it back. I couldnt deal with APC on my car, lol. YOur never gonna let that die down will you?

Hey itr, let me know how that thing works out. I'm thinking about getting the m300 w/o datalogging for display purposes since I can't be having my laptop in the car at all times and I still want to keep an eye on things
