Good place to buy the "Ingallis Stiffy"?
Hey, Im trying to buy the "ingallis stuffy", its a engine torque damper, im sure you guys are familiar. I know of a few online stores that sell it, but we all know how online stores are.
I was wondering if anyone here could refer me to a reputable online store that sells this torque damper?
Also is it true that the ingallis is better than the NRG cause it uses an actual piston-type cylinder instead of just a rubber damper? I read some post by the beta-tester for their damper that i *think*
stated that.
Also I know it stated they put a lot more r&d into their mount cause the generic design kept breaking.
Thanks!

I heard that NRG use to make the Ingallis engine torque damper. And I thought the NRG used a piston-type cylinder. I was just playing with one at my friends shop this weekend. I could be wrong though.

Had a friend buy one of these because he thought he needed it. Turns out he needed fresh motor mounts. He went ahead and bought some JimFabs, took off the damper and sold it, and things have been peachy since.
Not trying to say that's your case, but make sure your engine mounts aren't worn before spending money on a needless part.

Thanks, yeah thats the one but i think that is the old design. They have a new one that has a "i" cut into the mounting bracket.... i think it has some improvements in design as well..
Yeah i saw my engine on the dyno it torque like a bitch, I was going to get the stiffy and some torque mount inserts...

So did his and they had 120k+ miles on them. If you get this damper and your mounts are really worn, this damper is going to get worn out in a shorter amount of time than it originally would have since it's taking up the slack from the worn mounts.
Start with a solid foundation...

BISI Ezerioha made 300whp+ on his, he also built an F22a for a friend of mine which made 250whp+ if memory serves me correct. I was just playing because it wasn't FI related really but oh well
