Phat! I hope they do make another one. I know the cool, hip, real racer thing to do is hate the movie, but I enjoyed it. I guess I am rice. Oh well.

Don't get me wrong, the movie was a real good movie, i liked it. they advertised the **** out of it and now it's fast and furious this and that. i think most of the "kids" didn't watch it for the plot but for the street racing and then went out and got busted racing becouse the cops seen the ads too. i know 4 people that got busted since the movie came out. i would watch a part 2 if it came out too.

I liked the movie too but it was definitely bad publicity for street racing and imports. Cops hate us more and probably think of I as a game to catch us (us vs them) cause "we have scanners". And not to forget everyone thinks we are thugs.

its been the oposite for me actually, i got pulled over the other day and not only did i get off with a warning, but the cop said he liked my car and was asking what all the electronics and gauges did.

When we used to go street racing at Meacham or by the breweries back in the day, somebody always had a scanner. It's just smart to do.

The cops are gonna go after you anyway, might as well get a heads up.

An I doubt most of you guys look like "thugs" anyway so I wouldn't sweat it.

I saw the Supra used in the movie, it's on display at Universal Studios. It's pretty wack, non turbo, completely stock. On a side note I saw the real supra that they copied (craig liebermans) it was on display at the 1/8th mile street legals here in San Diego, that one was pretty tight. It actually had quite a bit of stuff done to it.
