Default Golden Eagle Sandwich Adapter Oil Filter types

Hi,

Got a problem after tightening it in to the block, i screw on the oil filter and have a gap where the gasket on filter wont reach the GE adapter. This is a Fram Filter, could it be that the filter threads are not deep enough.

Please let me know what filters u guys are using. Please help!!!thanks.

Same problem with fram filters on my gem adapter. OEM or purolator filters seems to work fine.

Ditto! I've used 2 types of Frams now too, the regular ones and the Tough Guard ones.

Prelude chassy's don't want to clear... you have to notch out a bit of the rear member.

It also helps to check out the oil filters available and get the shortest one. Then you need to purchase a filter wrench that is one of those ring-expansion types.
