Golden Eagle Question: How much including sending my block out to have it hold about 18 psi?
I mean how much total and what all exactly do they do? My car is blowing oil and I refuse to boost it the way it sits and I would never be satisfied with only 6 or 7 psi anyway. So how much am I looking at for What ever Golden Eagle Does and Pistons etc... To get it told hold about 15-18 psi like I said?

15-18psi you could probably get away with just pistons, rods, a block gaurd, and tuning. Keep it at 10-15psi street, 15-18 track on race gas. If you assemble it yourself, you can do that for just under a grand. Add sleeves, honing, boring, and include pistons, rods, new bearings, and assembly you're looking at $2100-$2400 by the time you pay for shipping there and back. Oh and you won't have a motor for three to four weeks.

do it the right way the first time, go for the sleeves. i believe darton charges about 900 for sleeves and the installation of them plus you pay about $100 for shipping.

I just had this done by RS Motorworks, which I highly recommend:
arias 9:1 pistons
new crank, micro polished (old one was destroyed)
darton sleeves bored to 84mm
eagle rods
hot-tanked, stepped deck, honed, etc
complete engine gasket kit (only a head gasket it needed, but I had headwork done and doing a complete reassembly)
Total cost to me was about $2300. That would be over a hundred cheaper if you don't get the complete gasket kit and don't need a new crank.
