Going to dyno tomorrpw morning. SPARK PLUG QUESTION???
I usually use NGK BCPR7ES-11, but I decided to try the BKR7E-11 this time since I hear alot of people using them. What is the difference between the two. I was told by importparts.com that the BKR7E-11 is the type R plug, and it will work fine although I am better off sticking with what I originally use. I plan on boosting 20+ psi. What do yall recommened?
Also, I usually gap them at 30, although since I have an aftermarket ignition my friend told me it was best to gap them 35-38?
Why do these BKR7E-11 come 10 per box? What car are they originally off of?
Thank's guys? (Also I did a search but none really answered my questions).

Re: Going to dyno tomorrpw morning. SPARK PLUG QUESTION??? (boosted hybrid)
I had better runs with the bcpr7es-11's. I ran both the bcpr7es's and bkr7e's with the same map and the bcpr7e's burned a lot cleaner. Both gapped at .032" Good luck at the dyno tomorrow.

Re: Going to dyno tomorrpw morning. SPARK PLUG QUESTION??? (boostaholic)
Good luck at the dyno. When I ran 20+ psi of boost I always ran a closer gap of like .024-26 even with a digital 7 box and coil. at 26psi with nitrous i had to close it to 20-22. a closer gap will give you more tq also. that what we need is TQ!!

Intresting anawers........I have alot of the BCPR7ES-11's. There used, some not very much. I'll clean some off and try them out as well.
This is where I am begining to hear different things. So a closer gap will increase torque?

Re: Going to dyno tomorrpw morning. SPARK PLUG QUESTION??? (turbo Si)
I was gonna swing by the dyno but it raining and i just washed my car. I run the BKR7E-11 and are very happy with them but i dont think there is much in it.
I had mine gapped to .040 since my JRSC days but it was missing above 10psi. When i checked them the gap had opened up to over .050. I regapped them to .035 and all seems to be well. I will probably go smaller at higher boost.
When you get that dyno sheet be sure to post it.
