how well do they work togather? and whats the pressure limit on them?

Even crappy solenoids will hold 100-120psi differential, meaning 114-134psi in most cases. FAR more than you need care about.

And since it was the "first" solenoid AEM used a lot, and GM has used it for years, it works decent. The MAC solenoid is better.
