Getting AEM EMS and new motor...should I tune EMS on old engine first?
GE has my spare block, thinking of getting the EMS. Should I go ahead and get the AEM and tune it on the current engine and then tweak the settings with the new block?
Or should I wait and start from scratch once the block is back from GE?

Re: Getting AEM EMS and new motor...should I tune EMS on old engine first? (Mase)
I am currently running my ems system on my CX (yes, ems on a 76 horsepower motor!) so that I can get familiar with it while the machine shop figures out my valve guide problem, as I patiently wait for my h22a to come home!!!
I just downloaded a stock civic basemap, and have spent the last 2 weekends adjusting it to get to where I am now, Permanently driving around with my ems as my ecu for my CX motor!!!
