Gathered all my turbo upgardes.....how much power should i expect?
how much power should I expect from the following upgrades?
2000 civic si
greddy 18 turbo kit
type 31 IC
Aem fuel rail and Regulator
Fluidyne radiator / mugen thermostat and fan switch
NGK spark plug wires and plugs
Exedy orgainc clutch
hi flow cat (2.5 inlet and 2.25 outlet)
skunk 2 catback
greddy profec II boost controller and timer
3 gauges
Hondata S200 and P28 ecu ~untuned~
the following mods I have but not installed yet........
CP pistons 9:0:1 with rings, locks etc.
Eagle rods and bearings
ARP head studs
InlinePro Head gasket
Walboro 255 fuel pump
Gm 3bar map sensor
Hondata Intake manifold gasket
AEBS intake manifold
RC 720 injectors
Assuming that above parts installed and Tuned by a good tuner how much power
should I expect? (anybody recommend me a good tuner in Southern Cali)?

(1)are you gonna run 9.0:1 compression pistons and the inline pro headgasket??
(2)How much boost are you planning on running?

there's nothing wrong with running 9:0:1 pistons and the inlinePro head gasket
together their both low compression.
I'm gonna upgrade my piping to 2.5 (from the cat to the back)
but anyway as the question says how much power?.........more or less

The 18G is good up to 400 hp anything after that is pushing it.
I know its not that big of a turbo but it has some potential.

never seen an 18g get close to 400. The exhaust sucks, and you compression is going to be like 8:1 (to low for my taste). Also that clutch won't take it.

so with the low compression pistons and the head gasket it will bring the compression even lower (overkill) I guess. I didn't know that both combined that it would bring it down lower. I am just shooting to get 300 whp or higher.
well thanks for the info I think I would be alright with the set-up I'm kinda iffy now.

Holy crap. Seriously, if you actually thought this to be true you REALLY need to sit down and do a lot more reading before you go try and install everything, because if this is any indication of how much knowledge/experience you have chances are you're going to mess something up. A 3mm gasket on an already 9:1 B16 will bring the compression down to a staggering 7.5:1, which will feel doggish on a tiny B16.

You're alright dude, just sell the inline pro head gasket and stick with the pistons. And make sure you get that 2.5" exhaust.
I think your goal of 300+ horsepower is realistic. Just take it to a good tuner who knows what they are doing

It is not a 3mm headgasket it is a 2mm headgasket from inlinepro. I knew that the headgasket was low compression however I didn't think it would bring down the compression drastically. Don't get me wrong I didn't just order parts and not know anything about them ....I talked to the guy at inlinpro and told him my set-up and said it would not drop my compression drastically I mean it was designed for boost applications but if worst comes to worse and it does lower the compression to like 7 something then I'll just sell it and put the money towards good tuning.

If your looking for at least 300whp I would go with a 3" exhaust. It will be alot easier to hit your goal and could lower the boost a tad in getting there. 2.5 to 3" could give you a good 10-15 hp

yea I'm gonna sell the Inlinepro headgasket and buy an OEM Headgasket and put the rest of the money towards good tuning.
any takers on the headgasket $220 shipped (2mm)
got it brand new for $269 from InlinePro

How is it better than OEM?........reason is that I've heard some bad experiences about them.

Re: Gathered all my turbo upgardes.....how much power should i expect? (tank_99)
Ive heard both, OEM should be fine. I just have had good experience with cometic. May even want to take out the middle layer of the OEM. Should raise compression just a lil. .1-.2. Unless you are planning on 20 + psi its a good thing.
