would you think that's too big for the d16? i like some lag for streetablity and killer top-end.

I am using a 57 trim, .63a/r t3/to4e on the d16z6 that i am building. Dont plan on using the 57 or 60 trim sizes if you dont raise your redline. I am using a 8K redline with the turbo. The head will be built and ported, so it can flow with the turbo. Everyone talks about how crazy you'd have to be run such a large turbo on the d-series. Think about it the b16a is a 1.6L, with a good flowing head and 8K redline approx. The d16 is a 1.6 with a medium flowing head and 7.2K redline. Open up the head, raise the redline and you'll be fine. If you prepare the d16 right you can make some nasty power, compariable to a b16a. Everyone sleeps on the d series, but hopefully with this engine i am making I'll be able to prove my theory.
