Garrett T04E 50trim .50A/R Compressor map ? does a .50A/R T04E Even exist ?
I purchased a Turbo about a year ago and was told it was a Garrett T3/T04E Turbo. The exhaust side is .48A/R and the Compressor is .50a/r
I searched these forums for 2 hours. Some people claim that there is no .50a/r T04E and that my turbo is a T04B, they claim its like this
.50a/r = T04B
.60a/r = T04E
.70/ar = T04S
Is this true ? do I really have a T04B ?
if my Turbo really has a .50a/r T04E compressor housing with a 50trim wheel where is a compressor map for it ? I cant seem to find one anywhere
thanks

Turbonetics made a T04E with a smaller housing(2.75" inlet) that may be a .50 A/R, but I'm not 100% on that.

the number is irrelevant for you, because Garrett changed some volutes over the years to be a .50A/R and .60A/R. Take the housing off, and measure the wheels to be sure, and stop "spinning your wheels" over the number.
Oh, god.. that joke was just bad... really bad. Sorry, guys.
