Garrett GT3576 .65 A/R picsand results please.
Hi all , I chased a link back to this site about someone having pics of this turbo . I have seen a turbo on a Isuzu Sitec engine thay may be similar/same . I can't get at its ID tag but this much I can see .
1.05 A/R turbine housing with extended 4 bolt outlet similar to non gated GT35R's .
0.65 A/R compressor housing with threads in the backplate washer / clamp plates instead of in the back of the comp housing .
No water cooling .
Up on top it has an internal waste gate actuator so possibly gated on one of the split housings inlets .
T3 flange .
Can anyone bring the pics back up from the thread late last year ?
ThanksAdrian .

No Sitec is a medium weight truck engine , late FTS series Isuzu . Someone on this board had a string on a GT3576 they had pics but pics not avail ATM .
These are interesting because they appear to use the GT35 UHP turbine like the GT3076R but with a GT bush bearing style shaft/core . Possibilities .
Cheers Adrian .

It also uses a 0.65 A/R compressor cover which is larger than any I know of for the GT37 family of compressors .

Re: (raiden571)
Yep thats the one ! Thank you . Could I possibly trouble you for some pics of it with the compressor cover off please ? Also the one I've seen (but can't get at) has an ID tag on the compressor back plate . A pic or the details would be very useful to me . A measurement of the comp covers inlet snout and the compressors OD in mm would confirm it uses a 76mm 52T GT37 series compressor wheel . Should measure ~ 76.2mm and 55mm exducer/inducer .
I noted that the turbine housing on your turbo has provision for a twinned integral wastegate but the holes were not bored or the dual flap valves fitted .
Just to satisfy anyones curiosity why I'm interested in some aspects of this turbo . Firstly the .65 A/R compressor housing because Garrett have only used .60 A/R housings with those 76mm GT compressors in the past - from what I've seen . I believe larger A/R comp covers can at times increase the choke flow at lowish pressure ratios (lowish meaning up to 1 bar) .
Secondly the turbine housing may have possibilities - divided housing with separate vent paths to maintain the pulse separation while ever the flat valves are closed .
Cheers and thanks , Adrian DPO3 .

Re: (turbopete)
got the numbers off of the tagthey read:
P/N 8-94390-6401
S/N DA 01 82J
GTI P/N 702173-1
hope that was what you were looking for.
I measured the diameter of the compressor wheel also it was 75 mm
Let me know what else you are looking for

Pardon the thread Revival but i have this very same turbo only in a t4. Anyone else running this unit? If so, what power numbers is it producing?
