Default Garret T3/4 turbos, when do you hit boost on a GSR/ITR?

I'll be running a poor man's ITR with stock b18c pistons.. 9.8:1 compression.

I've been searching and reading on turbo setups and everything I read is about late spool...

I see 50 trims spool around 5000rpm
57 trims around 5500
etc...

I want to use one of the easy off the shelf log manifolds so I need a T3 exhuast housing. I'd like to have a turbo that is interchangeable (if I want something bigger later and don't have to make a new downpipe), but right now my goal is 250-300whp with boost around 3000-3500rpm if possible. Any suggestions?

I want something that has usability on the street without being at 7000+rpm to really feel it. I realize that a turbo that spools at 3500 is going to spin tires, but I'm not a leadfoot. If I can get good response down low, that's enough for me. I'll use some slicks on the track

i spool up at about 3500 with a 50 trim T3/T4

I spool at 4800 in second gear with .57 trim t3/t4 and log manifold. I think its around 5500 or so in first gear but not sure.

i had a 57 trim .63 a/r t3t4e. starts to boost around 3100. 7.5 psi by 4100 and 11psi by 4900ish. that was with a log mani and really beat up 60mm exhaust.
