garret 18g turbo for ef b16?
first i have to let you all know that i don't know much about forced induction. i'm still in my research state. but i would like any opinions on a garett 18g on a b16 ef civic? would it be ok, to much?

The 18g is a great turbo IMO, you would get very very quick spool with it, but it does run out of breath easily with the high revs of a b16. One big problem with the 18g is the internal wastegate. It would work fine on lower pressures but after 15+ lbs it just doesn't work that well. You would also make alot of torque using this turbo, and a nasty powerband.
I actually contemplated using this turbo instead of my current t3/t4 .63ar turbo that i have right now, since people have been able to push the 18g to 350 hp with wastegate modifications.
