Full race T67 429.1 WHP on 14psi , STOCK CAMS STOCK PORT
The car made 430whp on 14psi on a T67/T4, gsr motor and 9.0 compression LS crank. It made this power at 9k. My question is when does this turbo start to become efficient, im guessing 22psi and UP. BTW it has the LS crank, is it safe to rev it to 9k because that where it made the power at. I have the limiter set at 9k also.

What turbine wheel do you have??
ptrim or stage 5??
if you have a ptrim, then yes the turbo will be more efficient at higher boost levels..
your in its efficiency right now. if your using stage 5 wheel
i made 360whp 9psi, 460whp 14.7psi..

If you're making power, I wouldn't worry about the 9K redline. That block is sleeved and built right, and I know Sean tuned it thinking of you beating the dogpiss out of it.
As for the turbo efficiency... I'll let others answer that better as I don't know the T3/T67 very well.

Good deal, on my old set up B16A 84mm I made 424whp 15psi, then later made 540whp 18psi race gas after a ported head. The first was stock head and tb and cams too. These turbos are AWESOME!

Re: (blundar)
well i made 462 dynojet whp with stock cams and a 54trim garrett t4 at 13.5psi (wasn't hitting 14psi boost cut on my ecu) and less revs
maybe the T67 is too big for this power level

Wow you have a SUPER SUPER SUPER 54 trim Garrett turbo man! Also are these corrected figures?
T67 is not in it's efficiency range yet at low boost, I do believe it really livens up after 20 psi

i agree, hell of a 54trim..
the t67 wakes up with a ptrim.. if it has a stage 5, it likes mid range boost.

yes arn't they always corrected (dyno numbers)?
anyways, my point is the T67 is way overkill for this power level i think. hell, even my 54 trim isn't even awake yet!

my T4 has 76 trim (P-trim) exhaust. in a .58 a/r housing

Those numbers were dyno jet, It s A T4/T67 P Trim, THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL it is effcient at 14psi. I still think that is needs 22psi + to be making max power per pound of boost. I will hopefully have the car tunned on race gas and 30psi+ but it all depends on the man tunning my car and his availability. I dont think the car will have any trouble at all making 600whp with the unported head and GSR cams.

not sure how much tq the car made i would have to check and get back to you on that one, the motor has an LS crank (89mm) so its stroked on top of running 83mm bore. I really need a new tranny and a diff seeing as how i have a stock b16 trans with no 5th gear because it just pops right out. That , traction bars, and a nice set of tires will be next, followed by the race gas tune.
