I am using full race/manley for my B16. Sold my Eagles for these . Maybe you should ask the guys that you see selling them.

we have vehicles making over 1000 whp for an entire season on one set of rods... no problems with the rods.
maybe the sellers are going k series?

I think the manley rods are a little over kill. Unless your making a track car that is going to have over 500whp; I think a set of Eagles would do the job just fine. Maybe even a set of OEM rods with the proper machining would work well.

do you *really* want to risk those expensive pistons, nice crank, nice block, nice head, nice turbo all becuase you wanted to use oem rods???
If a rod breaks you will lose:
head
block
piston (s)
valves
possibly lose:
cams
turbo
etc
not worth it

Exactly. I run these rods and have absolutely no worries.

I got them and not one problem. The way I see it is spend the money and never have to worry about rod failure.
