Does anyone know/ have experience with the full race b series prostreet 3" downpipe (for ramhorn style) used on a non full race ramhorn manifold? Ive searched thru past threads and havent found any info regarding whether the designs are close enough to be able to use it on say my AFI ramhorn.

I'm sure there would be not much of modification you have to do to make it work. I suggest using V-band on the downpipe and your exhaust housing for ease of installation.

The v-band option is definately a good idea, and the more i compare my current 2.5" design to the full race i think it will work just fine. Just curious if anyone else has used it on there non full race setup with success.

if u dont already have the DP, then i wouldnt go out and buy it.

If ur not getting a DP w/ ur mani, then have one custom made so it truely fits.

Your still going to have to add a test pipe or cat so you will most likely be able to make up any slack or off-centernes there. You have to remember the DP's for GT series turbos are a little different then the standard non-gt housings.

True, i already have my setup together. Been running it for about a year now, but have wanted to have a 3" downpipe put in instead of my current 2.5". Im not running a cat and it already has a 3" flex pipe that starts off the 3" exhaust so maybe ill just have the same shop cut it off at the flex and just redo it. Because of lack of equipment a 3" downpipe wasnt an option at the time.

i dont understand why you wouldnt just have jesse make you a down pipe if your useing his manifold.
