fuel system for my 14b dsm mitsu homemade turbo
hey, im new here, i wanna see what u guys think...
im getting a 14b turbo and a 1g dsm manifold since the ports line up to my f22 motor in my accord, all u need to do is redrill the holes.. anyways, im on a tight budget, and i am getting the turbo and manni for a STEAL, so how can i further save money on a fuel system. ive got the 1g bov already, and i can get a set of the 450cc injectors, should i get these also, or use the stock accord injectors. i will be boosting no more than 6psi, most likely 4psi for the 1st few months or maybe less to make sure its all working right. fmu, or vafc, or hondata, or what... i dunno.

well if you want to save money and your going to be running that low of boost, then i say stick with your stock injectors and get an FMU with a 12:1 calibration disk.

talk to filetofit about him making a diymaplimter for you....which works like the afc hack. But he fabricates his own circuit for about $20. I'm going to running his map limiter as soon as I get 450cc injectors.

If you're on a budget, like me, I'd say definately go with Filetofits custom circuit. I have it myself with a set of 450 mitsu injectors.. the whole thing cost me $55 for WAY better than FMU fuel mgmt for much less money. You can build your own A/F gauge for about $10 and get a cheap VDO Boost gauge and you're all set. Easy, Cheap and Effective.. all the Fuel mgmt you need for less than $100..
