Default fuel question can i drive my car without engine management

im having my car dyno tuned with uberdata.. i have stock injectors in the car and i have to have the dsm injectors installed for the tuning can i install them and take off the vortech fmu and drive to get it tuned.... 250miles... anyone have a suggestions? i have to install the injectors a few days before so is it safe....

won't be a good idea to put DSM injectors in and try to drive it. Won't work to well. Just put them in when you get to where you are tuning it or something. Or if you have an AFC or something to use to lean them out. NO way I would put them in without anything and try to drive it. It probably will only idle for like 30 seconds then die.

thats what i thought... ill just bore out the seals and have them ready to go ... then put them in when i get there

As long as you don't boost, you will be fine with the stock injectors and no fual management.
