Fuel pump upgrade with SMC or SAFC (and ignition recurve Qs)
My setup is almost done. I need to iron out some issues with fuel tho. Im going to run eathier the SAFC or the SMC possibly with a BTM. Do I need to upgrade my fuel pump to a 255 intank or something? I know that I can, but will I be running to much fuel pressure? With all the research that I have done, I would like to indeed run TE in the future. At this time I do not have the materials I would like to have in order to run TE. So I plan on getting a stock hatch or something and learn to use it on that before I run it on my CRX. With that said, I have read that the timming can be quite an issue with these fuel controllers. I have read J Davis' post about it. Im am wondering what can be done to counteract this particular issue. Please do not ask me to run TE at this time, I will run it soon enough on another car an learn the ins and outs. I just perfer not to run it on my B20 until I have it down. tia

If you read my writeup, you'd know that a BTM in conjunction with an AFC or SMC makes about as much sense as paying $300 for a case of the clap. Care to reread?
