Default Fuel Pressure still too high???

I bought a B&M fuel pressure gauge, installed it and saw it reading pass 100psi so thought it was a busted one so i spent few extra bucks on a Marshall Gauge(liquid filled)and its still reading pass 100psi...Funnie thing is the car drives perfect but iam still worried why is still reading so high when i got a perfectly good gauge...my fuel setup is walbro 255hp intank and 550's injectors with stock FPR and Yes i have tried lowering the fuel pressure with my aem and b&m fpr and its makes the motor choke and it the numbers still wont go down.Any one ever had this problem?

This will sound stupid, but check the rail the FPR's to make sure they have the hole drilled where they are supposed to be drilled. I have see a couple rails that haven't had a return port fully drilled out. After that, check your hard lines to make sure there is no kink somewhere.

i'm guessing it has to do with your high pressure pump.

How many fuel pumps do you have, and where are they located? I.E. Inline pump, or intank Pump.

Do you have a FMU? If so, those create a lot of "fuel return" restriction.

You probably have a restriction in the return line somewhere.... try to take the return line off from the fuel pump housing and have someone turn the key on, see if fuel comes out of the line.

As for adjusting the pressure down and bogging, you probably have it tuned at 100psi and when you lower the fuel pressure the engine leans out.
