Default Fuel pressure??? Modded B16 W/ DSM Injectors?

I figured you forced induction guys would know. Ok I have a B16 w/ 12:1 comp. ctr cams, hell just read my sig. Anyway I installed DSM injectors the other day it runs ******* nuts. When I first put them in it wouldn't idle I had to lean it out to 20lbs fuel pressure. Now it runs great, still a little rich even. It pulls way harder than before and I know it is rich because the smell of 110 octane is kinda unmistakable. The 20psi thing kinda scares me though. I was thinking though mabey by having twice the size injectors, I don't need as much pressure. Does that make sense? I dunno it runs good, I just don't understand why it is so low. and my fuel pump sounds louder now too.

Yeah, its definaly running much richer. Injector size makes a huge difference, you cant just drop in larger ones. About the 20psi fuel pressure, it would be better to get some other means to controll the injectors (such as a vafc/safc) and raise it back up to the 40+ level. Reason being, at 20psi the fuel spray from the injectors wont atomize as well.

Yeah thanks alot man. Now should I just get a VAFC or hold off and get a Hondata? That is the new question. I'm probally leaning twards VAFC for price, ease of use, and what not. But I know a Hondata, being a complete engine management (not piggyback ****), is going to be a way better system to go with. Is it really worth the extra? Or should I just put the VAFC in?
