Fuel Pressure gauge reads 0 at idle??

Default Fuel Pressure gauge reads 0 at idle??

fuel pressure is reading 0 on my 95 ls turbo but when i crimp the line coming from the FMU it reads 40 have no idea what the prob is?

wheres the guage hooked up.??

it should be between the filter and the rail...

sounds like your fpr is bad.

gauge is hooked up on top of fuel filter....

sometimes those b&m units go bad
due to vibration...
so check that b4 you jump to replacing your FMU..

the gauge actully was just put on that day....and it read fine when i had my intank fuel pump in...then once i put my inline in it doesnt read anything until u crimp the fuel line on the bottom of the FMU....but the car seems to be running fine

you have to put it after you in line pump

heh

if the inline pump is /after/ the fuel pressure gauge, it won't read accurately.

same thing happens to me in my gsr, if you have an inline after gauge then it will litterally "suck" all the gas up before it can hit the gauge.

Summit makes a fitting that splices into your fuel line between the inline pump and the rail that will accept an fp gauge...
