Default fuel pressure all over the place ???

Alright here is my setup
sx fuel pressure regulator
ss fuel lines
walbro 255 lph pump
rc 750's saturated
golden eagle fuel rail

I'm watching my fuel pressure at idle and its bouncing all the hell all over the place in between 20 and 30 and then it will just fly up to 100 and then go over 100 and pin the needle and then drop back down, its just all over the place. I'm thinking possible a bad regulator. Thats all that I can think of right now. has anyone had this problem before. Maybe a bad gauge. but it bounces pretty feircely and when I shut the motor down it will stay in at whatever the last reading was and slowly bleed down to 0. anybody have any ideas? I try adjusting my regulator but it does'nt seem to want to do anything

oh yes and it was doing it on the stock pump so I put in my walbro and its still doing it only the readings are way higher. Thanks!

your regulator is probably shot

and check for vaccum leaks and air bubbles in your lines

alright it's definetly a bad guage, I popped the lines off of my fuel setup in an attempt to switch back to a stock regulator and the gauge stayed pinned at 80psi

to b&m, it only lasted about 1 hour
