which fuel injectors for 400whp?
im using alphi delco 440cc injectors on my boosted gsr right now putting 295whp down, and will be re-tuning for 400whp this summer, which injectors should i go with for 400whp, would 1000cc be overkill or just enough, and where can i get the best deal on them?

Do your self a favor. Spend the extra money & buy high impedance 1000cc injector dynamics injectors. The idle & spray pattern is much cleaner then a low impedance injector which will require a resistor box.

ive been using precision 880's for a few years with no issue. got them new for like 260 bucks off the sponsor marketplace. they are low impedence and i have a resistor box, but i soldered and heatshrinked all the wiring under oem loom and mounted it under my intake manifold, you dont even see it

ID1000 and you will be very pleased with them. best injectors on the market hands down. T1 Tony sells them and xenocron both good sellers and fast shipping

would these injectors be high impedance, it says they are high resistance, so would i need a resistor box on these?

Otherwise you can save yourself some money and get 880cc Precision injectors, I have those and love them! For me and my street 400-500hp that's all I need...

I'm with everyone on the ID1000cc injectors...I ran the precision 1000cc injectors before hand...but once I swapped to the ID injectors...the car ran so much smoother, idled practly like stock at 800rpm withe crower 404s cams...overall I'm impressed with them...

Skuded, what are your goals for this?
A simple retune for 400whp does not warrant buying ID1000s. Not even a little. If he's going to build the engine and shoot for 600 then yes, absolutely. But retune for 4? Uh no, much cheaper and perfectly usable options out there.

Re: which fuel injectors for 400whp?
i am not building the motor, it is all stock from top to bottom, and im looking at about 400whp for now, i cannot afford to build the motor at this time, and its not my daily driver, i know its risky on the stock motor, but 400whp is all i want to push it. im maxed out right now at 295whp on my 440 alphi delphi injectors, so im just looking for something to get me to that next level, and i agree i should go with the id1000's just in case i decide to build it in the future, but i just dont know if i want to shell out 1000$ for some injectors and a tune, when i could get away with spending about 600 for the same power goal im looking for.

Re: which fuel injectors for 400whp?
For a stock block 400whp goal? RC750s, precision 780-880? Why does he need to spend such an abnormal amount of money on injectors? We have been making 400hp look easy for the better part of 5-6 years now, buying $500 injectors to get the job done is rediculous for MOST people. Not to mention, if in 2-3 years the guy decides he wants to build the engine and go for new power, who's to say there won't be a new injector out that's even better for cheaper? The automotive technology is starting to really pick up speed, getting caught up in it isn't always a good idea.
skuded, if you'd like I actually have a set of precision 780s laying around that I can give you for cheap, I switched over to E85 and they weren't big enough. PM me if you want.

get the ID's i have 880s they idle like crap and rich.If i try to lean them out my car starts poping and strugling to idle. NO matter how good a tuner you go to 880s will not idle good. As soon as i get my new turbo, clutch and tranny for new racing season i am getting some ID's
