ok i replaced my oil feed line a week ago, and its SHOT (leaking) again due to slightly touching the manifold. Well go to check out my turbo today with the car on and i notice the turbo isn't spinning, so i rev up the engine just a bit and the it begins to spin, but as the motor dies down in revs the turbo stops spinning. i felt the turbo and it has SLIGHT shaftplay in and out. Do yall the turbo is eff'ed? thank you.

true, thats what i thought. i had good luck with it (almost a year), until the oil line fukkkk things up. thanks man.

Turbo not spinning on idle is normal. As long as the turbo still make boost when you put load on the engine than I wouldn't worry about it.

what kind of oil lines do you have ? are they made from plastic ?

like the guy above me said, if it makes boost its still good.

yeah it still makes boost! because got on it and everything felt normal, then i pulled over to check things out and thats when i noticed it. So there's hope! you guys just made my night, im stoked. haha
