fresh motor = code 6, 7, and 10
i know what the codes are, but im wondering if anyone wants to take a stab in the dark as to why i am throwing these three codes. i also heard that code 6 will make my car run extremely rich.... well its running to rich that i cant even get it to turn over. so any advice would be great.

6 is the water temp sensor...
7 is the tps
10 is iat....
di you pull the motor out at all? sounds like a wiring problem to me... its pretty hard for all the sensors to go bad at once

i did pull the motor completely out, like i have done numerous other time and been succesful. and like i said i know what the codes are, i was just looking for ideas on what might be causing them. i think i have narrowed it down to the ecu, because each time i reset it i get a different combination of codes. but code 6 is always there, and i really need that one gone.... hell i really need all of them gone so i can pass emissions

Re: (wantboost)
no its a gsr with a bunch of crap done to it..... but there more to the story, ran fine for a day or so, did a compression check 210, 200, 205, 195..... and then i put my plugs and all back in and it would crank up from there. but before that the only code i was getting was 41... O2 heater.

ok, im respecting the wireing idea, but why would it be wireing if all the wires and wireing harnesses are all factory, all i did was plug and play another block into my car. and its throwing these codes before i can even crank my car, almost before it even has time to do the readiness test, i turn my car on check engine light comes on, goes off, and comes right back on. as a matter of fact the only code its throwing now is code 6. and it only started doing this after the compression test, before hand the only code it threw was 41 which i know why that was being thrown. so if it is wireing gimme a few places to check, chances are i have already checked them, but hell im open to all suggestions.

Re: (turbodohcsi)
Is it a 2000 motor that's never seen rain or snow? If not, it can still be the wiring. Contrary to popular belief, Honda didn't use the best wires it could have. There's also the fact that oil can and will affect the wire's ability to insulate against interference/crosstalk. Copper also ages like a crack *****, so don't expect a 5-10 yr old wire to conduct perfectly.
Try a different gsr harness if you can, or a different ecu.

Re: (turbodohcsi)
you have the idle aircontrol mixed up with the iat? ....switch them around...
the code 6 is the sensor under the distributor with 2 wires going to it...check the wires or replace the sensor
