Frankenstein conversion pricing....

firstly don't flame this is one of my first posts just want to know if I am getting a good deal on the work.... I have a 99 Si with all the bolt ons and a stage 3 clutch and flywheel.... Already purchased the revhard stage 2-c but I want to replace my block with the b20 block and do the internals on my b16 head..... To rebuild the block (pistons, rods, etc), Rebuild the head (cams, springs, etc...) pnp both the exhaust and intake and install the turbo, and the hondata stage-2b ecu (I already have a mugen type-r one with the obd-2 --> obd-1 harness) and an Apex-i avc-R. RPM Nyc is charging me $7500

The price includes all the work, parts for the head/block all i need to bring is the Turbo Kit, a b20 (motor or block.. If i can get just the block 300 less) and the ecu.... I already have around 5k and i really dont want to spend double the labor to install the turbo since this season is pretty much over... Is there price reasonable? Has any one worked with them?

that actually not a bad price as long as you are getting all new, high performance, rods pistons etc. adn if they are planning on balancing everything. i built and LS/VTEC for my teg and i twas fairly simple. i think i only spent around $1500-$2000. i had the head from a B16, and the block was already in the car. i used all honda parts on it too.

95 B18B Integra block
JDM B16 SiR1 head
Si pistons (with B16 head on B18B block, yields 11.5:1 comp)
NEW OEM LS rods
new vlave seals
Skunk2 intake manifold

that's basically it, i bought all new bearing and stuff too, but i think all i spent under $2k easy. if you have the resources and ability, i would re-build it yourself if i were you http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emthup.gif

Call importbuilders.com and ask how much for their package 2 without the transmission but with hondata. If you were willing to do more of the work your self I would buy a shortblock from importbuilders and get my head done at portflow and assemble and install myself.
