Default FMU? VAFC? just looking for what i need to get?

so im going boost on my gsr. im only looking to run at MAX 8psi... but mainly around 6-7.

what should i be getting for fuel management. the kid i bought my turbo kit from had an FMU so it was included with what i bought from him. ive read that an FMU isn't always a good thing to use.

basically what im asking is what should i do for fuel for my low boost setup?

I'm a BOOST N00B! so dont flame, and yes, i did search

I would at least go with something you can tune. If it was me I would either chip the ecu myself or buy some kind of stand alone fuel management system. Last time I checked GSR motors weren't cheap so I would want it tuned really well. Fuel management is the most important part of a turbo kit.

I personally use the VAFC which works very well for 7psi on a D series.

My friend mike (mikeahowski on HT.com) uses the FMU and it feels GREAT on his car. Im not sure on the tuning capabilities of it, but it really pulls good.

I'm wondering the same questions ask this guy...how well can you tune a FMU (i.e. vortech 12:1) or would you need another device (i.e. VAFC or SAFC) to tune it?
