I got this harness from VS Racing. It is suppose to covert my OBD-2 plug to OBD-1. Well as you can see in the picture it clips onto the injectors just fine, but there is no way they are clipping into my OBD-2 clips. I even looked at my friends 1997 Honda Civic, and his clips are the same as mine. I have a 2000 Civic Si. The clips I have in the picture are also the same as my friends clips in his 2000 ITR. So what other OBD-2 clip "If there is another" would this harness clip onto? Tryin to find the problem, and I went to honda and couldn't figure it out.



Help me and Viren solve this problem. I'd really like this to work.

hah anyways, I cant tell if you are holding the harness and a obd2 injector clip or if all that **** is connected to one another. Who made these conversion harnesses? they surely arent the right connectors.....id just suck it up and cut, the obd2 injector clips, and solder the new clips on.

dont know what else to tell you.

I think those clips are the CPR obd2 to obd1 clips that viren sells. People said that you'll have to cut a tab off in the clip. I got the same ones and it looks like i'll have to bust out the dremel to make them fit my car

EDIT: I just look at the pic again, and I did not realize that the injector is hanging off the harness.
the blue clips looks to be an OBD2 clips from the engine harness, both OBD 1 and OBD 2 clips from the engine harness are female, the injectors have male prongs.

The male prong suppose to be from an OBD 2 injectors so you can clip in the male prong to the clips from the wiring harness... Try to plug the male to the blue female prong to see if it will fit. If not Vireen may have put the wrong clips from a non OBD 2 injectors.

get your old OBD 2 injector and compare the male prong clips on the conversion harness to the male prong on the OBD 2 injector to see if they have the same pattern. If not, they Vireen may have put the wrong clips from a non OBD2 honda injectors
